Resently I have have done a lipid profile and This is the result. Is this normal? 1. SGPT/ALT 30U/L 2. Total Cholesterol: 237mg/dL 3. Triglycerides: 82mg/dL 4. HDL Cholesterol: 39mg/dL 5. LDL Cholesterol/HDL Cholesterol: 4.62 6. HDL Cholesterol/HDL Ratio: 6.08 7. LDL: 180mg/dL

You need to have change in diet habits and life style as low fat diet with lots of fibres and say morning walk. You may require drug to reduce cholesterol as tablet simvastatin start with 10 mg at bed time. As it causes muscular pain some time .
