High blood pressure 160/90
I have not been taking any elopathic medicine, except for diabetes after one year of my by-pass heart surgery. Lately from last few months my blood pressure readings are showing 160/90 which is a cause for concern. Local doctor put me on Amlopen AT last week, I wish to know is this the right medicine for me in my present condition or you would advise some other medicine. Thanks.

It's extremely important to keep your BP , glucose levels and cholesterol level under check having gone through CABG. The doctor has advised you to have right medicine combination for your blood pressure. You should aim to keep your BP under 130/80 since you are diabetes as well Keep monitoring the BP and timely consultation with your doctor is advised
