I was diagnosed with herpes zoster ( Shingles) and i am having medication for that. It has been 4 days and the blisters are still there along with the pain. Due to which I am unable to go to my office. But in my office they require medical certificate for leave which my treating doctor says they cannot give for herpes. My question is do the doctor want patients to go to work with all big blisters and pain. I am not even able to wear tight clothing how will I go to office. So how do I persuade the doctor to provide medical certificate or is it true that for herpes zoster virus , no medical certificate is given.
