I had my first episode of herpes lebailis in 2015. After that, it occurs every year (sometime once, sometime twice, sometime once in two years).. not a series of blisters, but a single one in lips
How many occurrences in a year of such blisters are normal... is it normal ? and please tell also, is there any alarming situation at which I need to rush in to see the doctor.
Thanks

Hi there fellow Bengaluruean.
Your history and description and query is specific.
Permit me to answer as specifically as possible.
Your rate of recurrences is par for the course and the usual pattern seen in patients who suffer from Herpes Simplex.
There is no alarming situation as such.
Where exactly the blisters occur can be a cause for concern especially if on sensitive areas.
Clear pics would be useful.
