Hemorrhoids have been swelling for the last 2 months. No pain no bleeding. The surgeon has said it's grade 2 to grade 1. But swelling is not reducing. Some tablets and sitz baths were recommended but swelling increased as the stool passed. Cream with nicotinamide was recommended but it hardly helped.. Is there any option here this swelling will go away. Any injection or any procedure on opd basis. Attaching images.

On basis of these images it is difficult to say that is there is haemorrhoids or not
Get proctoscopic examination done by surgeon to rule Ot haemorhoids
And if is painful unlikely to be harmorroids
Without any surgical interventions not possible to reduce that swelling
If it is grade 2 and not having any significant complaint like pain fever or pus discharge or any signs of inflammation then nothing to worry... Nothing to be done.
Grade 1/2 hemorrhoids are highly treatable and often resolve with conservative, non-surgical methods.
Dietary Adjustments: Increasing fiber intake (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) to prevent constipation and straining.
Hydration: Drinking plenty of fluids.
Topical Treatments: Using over-the-counter creams, ointments, or suppositories (e.g., Preparation H, hydrocortisone) to reduce inflammation and itching.
Hygiene: Using warm baths (sitz baths) to soothe the area.
Medical Procedures (if needed): If bleeding persists, non-surgical, in-office procedures like rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy, or infrared coagulation may be recommended.
Hello 🙏
From your description, this appears to be grade 1–2 internal hemorrhoids. Swelling during stool passage is common, even without pain or bleeding.
When swelling does not reduce despite medicines and creams, procedural options are available:
Rubber band ligation
Injection sclerotherapy
Both are simple OPD procedures, usually painless, and do not require admission. They are effective for grade 1–2 piles.
Along with this, it is important to keep stools soft (high-fibre diet, fluids, stool softener if needed), as hard stools will keep aggravating the swelling.
Please consult a surgeon to decide the most suitable OPD procedure after examination.
Hope this helps.
