Heel pain with knee and calf muscle pain
I recently started running 3 months back for reducing my weight. I m 61 kgs and 154 cm, overweight according to my BMI. Initially there was no pain but I developed pain in my heel and knee 2 wks back. The pain is dull and lingering, starts mostly after my run and I don't actually have issues while running. Since it has started to cause me pain even while walking , I took a break for a week and let it rest for a while. But even after a week it still persists. Is it an overuse injury or due to wrong posture or shoes ? Should I consult a orthopaedic or a sports physiotherapist?

It may be fatigue pain due to overuse while running. Do adequate warm up before your runs. If pain is not associated with any swelling or localised tenderness then it may resolve of its own. If it’s not resolving after adequate rest then please visit orthopaedic doctor
