Plain x ray of the heel. Sounds like a ‘Calcaneal spur’. This usually needs steroid injection once confirmed. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

Could be plantar fascitis or calcaneal spur. Take tab flexon m.r one every 8hours for 4 days, after meals. Soak feet in warm water for about 10minutes, morning and evening. Wear thick ,cloth, shoes like sports shoes while walking or standing for long.

Your symptoms—heel pain for weeks, worse on walking and after sitting (first step pain)—are most consistent with: • Plantar Fasciitis
Next Steps
• Rest + activity modification (avoid prolonged standing, hard surfaces) • Footwear correction: – Use cushioned shoes – Silicone heel pads • Exercises (very important): – Calf stretch – Plantar fascia stretch (rolling foot on bottle/ball) • Pain relief: – Ice application 10–15 min, 2–3 times/day – Short course painkiller if needed (after doctor advice) • If not improving in 2–3 weeks: – Physiotherapy – Ultrasound of heel (to rule out spur if needed)
Health Tips
• Don’t walk barefoot (especially on hard floors) • Morning stiffness is typical—do stretching before first step • Weight control helps reduce pressure on heel • Avoid sudden increase in walking/exercise ⚠️ Red flags: • Severe swelling, redness • Pain at rest/night • No improvement after 4–6 weeks ⸻
