My son aged 2 years have been diagnosed profound hearing loss after hearing assessment. Report says he can't even interpret 105 db sound. What are his chances of recovery and treatment?

Good evening. Profound hearing loss means hearing ability is very poor. The child has to be given either hearing aids or an cochlear implant.
