Hi, 8 days ago I lost my hearing in my left ear, I phoned 111 and they sent me to the my local walk in, I have a wax build up and to use ear drops, it’s been 8 days and it’s progressively getting worse. It’s affecting my balance a lot, I have a 15m old son and I’m struggling to hear things he is saying.

As per your description you might have impacted wax.. it should be removed after instilling wax softening ear drop for few days.. visit an ENT specialist for wax removal..
