Health anxiety query
Hi , I was diagnosed with hypochondriasis / health anxiety 5 years back and used to get my heart tests done frequently. I was prescribed 12.5 mg paroxetine and 0.5 mg clonazepam twice a day which was working fine for me but increased my weight and caused delayed ejaculation. I stopped medicines 6 months back as I was stuck overseas and couldnt get them . Doctor there started escitlopram and sertraline but they don't seem to work effect effectively. Currently taking 150 mg sertraline and 0.5 mg clonazepam but still feeling anxious and taking it from last 2 months . Confused whether I should go back on paroxetine but it causes weight gain and delayed ejaculation...Or is there any other medicine as effective as paroxetine with less aise effects . Also feeling depressed and bloating with sertraline. Really confused as whether to increase dosage of sertraline or go back to poroxetine or take another opinion .Thanks

The side effects you have mentioned are noted while using these medications which can be alleviated by adding on other meds . But regarding your choice of meds ( paroxetine or sertraline ) you should consult a psychiatrist , discuss and take meds accordingly rather than self medicating
