My mother is suffering from hand and shoulder pain. Whenever she wakes at morning she isn't able to move her hands and shoulder. It feels like parasthesia in her hands. Kindly suggest some home remedies which we can start during corona times. As many ortho centres aren't open in delhi due to corona. So kindly suggest home remedies.

This could be periarthritis / rotator cuff pathology in the shoulder , carpal tunnel or cervical radiculopathy associated. Ideally needs a clinical examination.

Hello dear
You have provided very little history for me to make sense. Most importantly you have not mentioned her age.
Points lacking in history:
1. Age, like already mentioned.
2. How long has the pain been there?
3. Has she had neck pains in the past?
4. Does she get dizziness?
5. Alongside paraesthesias has she developed any weakness in her grip (difficulty holding on to a glass of water)
6. Does she have any medical illness like diabetes or hypothyroid and if she is on any drug treatment?
7. Has she attained menopause?
In the mean time i can only say that it could be a neck or a shoulder problem but which one exactly is difficult to ascertain based on the provided history.
