Hairline fracture in right foot
I slipped on a wet floor and got hairline fracture on my right foot at distal end of 4 the proximal phalanx. In report it is mentioned that round nodular radiopacity seen lateral to the cuboid bone most likely s/o? loose body?/sesamoid. Clinical correlation is suggested.
Could you please help me in understanding what does clinical correlation means?

Clinical correlation in this case is to look for any local site tenderness or wound or any positive findings at that site .. sesamoid or a lose body may be an incidental finding here .
