Fracture base of the fifth (toe) metatarsal bone
Next Steps
Due to poor blood supply, these injuries are slow to heal and prone to nonunion. Treatment typically involves 6–8 weeks of non-weightbearing in a cast, or surgery (screw fixation) for athletes, taking 3–4 months to fully recover.

The X-ray is suggestive of an undisplaced Jones fracture (fracture at the base of the 5th metatarsal on the outer side of the foot). Since it is not displaced, the bone alignment is maintained, which is a good sign. However, this area has relatively less blood supply, so healing can be slower compared to other fractures.
Next Steps
Avoid putting weight on the affected foot for now. Immobilisation with a cast for a few weeks .
Health Tips
If you are someone with high level of activities better to get surgical fixation for faster healing and early return to activities/sports

This is Jone's fracture. It lies in the grey zone of blood supply means less blood supply which makes it slow to heal and hard to unite by itself. For proper healing u must go for a simple surgical procedure with no blood loss and minimum pain and is daycare procedure.
