Gynaecologist in pregnancy
I was caught by Covid19 and i was pregnant of 20days. i took 3 medicines ivermectin 12mg for 5days, doxycycline 100mg 8days , dexa for 3days. when i missed my period i got to know i am pregnant. now i am 7 weeks pregnant. i am done with 7 weeks pregnancy ultrasound and found everything is fine like heart beat and size of the foetus. but i am scared about the adverse effects of the above medicines and due to these abnormality in baby after birth. so could you please help me to calculate the risk of such thing? i am so scared in confusion whether i should continue or terminate the pregnancy.

These tablets are FDA category C and D. You have taken these in very early part of pregnancy, so there won't be any harm to the baby. Continue with pregnancy. Do followup scans of 3rd and 5th month along with ANC tests.

No direct study on human is conducted to show adverse effect of ivermectin and doxycycline on pregnany(growing baby).. No as such data available.. Don’t think about termination Just continue the pregnancy . Go for regual Ante natal visits
