Try to keep that area clean

Please visit a dentist and get a Xray done for the tooth. This will help proceeding with the further treatment which may involve saving or removing the tooth.
Also for temporary relief, you may apply icepacks from outside and do warm saline gargles.
Pl chk if your upper 3 rd molar is also erupted and whether it is hurting the gums of the lower 3rd molar..
If so if you visit to the dentist ..the dentist will do a coronoplasty procedure .
Also pl do warm saline rinse
Take a pain killer ..
