Monocef is an antibiotic. If the doctor has prescribed it for 3 days twice daily , you ought to complete the course of the medicine even if you have achieved relief in 1 day use of the medication.

Hello there , The swelling in your gums is a condition known as pericoronitis. While medications can provide temporary relief, they do not address the underlying issue. For a long-term solution, I recommend either extraction of the affected tooth or a minor surgical procedure called operculectomy to remove the overlying gum tissue. A clinical examination will help determine the best course of action for you.
