Hello, your condition describes the inflammation in gums above a wisdom tooth. You should get the position of the tooth checked for altered path of eruption. For now, you can start with warm saline rinses thrice daily and antibiotics like augmentin 625 mg thrice daily for 5 days.

Going by the description that you have mentioned it seems that your upper wisdom tooth is affected. This can be ascertained for sure after a proper clinical evaluation and an x-ray.
The treatment will also depend upon the diagnosis and if it is about the wisdom tooth extraction of the offending tooth is the best permanent solution.
Do not delay this treatment till the symptoms aggravate further.
