You should go for endoscopy ,if you have hiatal hernia..treatment will be given according to that. You should take pppi and domperidone sr combination Add tab lesuride 25 mg bd... Also add syp sucral-0 2tsf tds.. You will relieved in 1 week.

This condition happens when the valve between the food pipe and stomach becomes weak and remains open: this also happens when the junction slides up into chest when it is called “Hiatus hernia”. Three tests are needed for complete work up: 1. Endoscopy 2. Manometry 3. 24hour pH . If this confirms the diagnosis, then surgery is ideal: this surgery is done laparoscopic or robotically. PPI doesn’t prevent the reflux from happening It decreases the acid production in stomach and hence less acid in the reflux If the symptoms are disabling, please consult a surgical gastroenterologist and discuss further about surgical options for GERD - This will be a one- stop solution for your symptoms.
