Can GERD cause any permanent ear damage? From a few days my left ear is paining and sometimes it feels its somewhat blocked.

It depends on the severity of GERD if ur reflux is controlled by medications then it shouldnt cause,but if it is severe and not controlled it might.

Yes reflux can cause Eustachian tube infections. The tube responsible for Maintaining your middle ear pressure. Take your reflux medicinesAnd some more medicines for eustachian tube catarrh needs to be added.
