Frontal throat pain
My mother is 62 years old with medical comorbidities of mild coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, and hypertension who is on metformin, aspirin, antihypertensive pill, and levothyroxine who has been complaining of frontal middle throat pain and back side of lower neck pain with and without eating with breathing difficulty for the past one month. I have been to General Physician who prescribed pantaprazole for one week and she had relief, but again the same symptoms persisted today. Please suggest which specialty to visit. Is it related to GI with dysphagia or other issue.

It seems like a condition known as GERD. You should consult a gastroenterologist for that.
