Fracture related
I had a foot fracture 3 weeks ago. My doctor told me to put plaster for 3 weeks and after removing the plaster i have to wrap my foot with crape bandage for again 3 weeks. Instead of 3 weeks of plaster if i put plaster for 4 weeks after that if i wrap my foot with crape bandage for 2 weeks will i face any problem?

Hi there! Continuing this plaster for four weeks and applying crêpe bandage and and using the limb minimally will do the job. Keeping the plaster keeps the part completely immobilised. But muscle atrophy remains a problem in strict immobilisation.
Next Steps
When the plaster is removed , use ice fomentation and crepe with anti inflammatory medicines.
