These cough syrups are advised to be used with caution in children less than 4 years.
So I advise you to visit your pediatrician and follow their advise
The government has advised not to use any cough syrups below 2 years of age as they have severe side effects. Recent deaths of children have happened after giving these. So please don't dive it. Consult a pediatrician directly for treatment
Better not to use any cough SYP below 2 years. Try nasoclear drops. Cold and cough if mild need not be treated as they are protective mechanisms of body. A baby coughing 5-6 times a day is completely normal. If the baby is active, feeding well. Nothing to worry
BioCof Mint is not recommended for an 18-month-old. Cough syrups are generally avoided below 2 years. Instead, give saline nasal drops 3–4 times/day, steam inhalation, and plenty of fluids. If the baby has fast breathing, fever, or poor feeding, please consult to a paediatrician
