Foot Thumb Fungus and Pain

I got some fungus at the foot thumb(Diagnosed for Prediabetic since five months)
Also it Pains whensoever it hits the some hard surface otherwise in normal state it is better.
Please suggest some good medicine, some home remedies and precautions for the same in future.

You may have paronychia which is nail bed infection. kindly share pictures to decide which kind of infection is there. Avoid putting feet in water for very long.
