For last 18 hours my wife has been suffering from high fever consistently (101 to 102 degrees) and body aches with a little bit of weakness. upon consultation a local doctor has prescribed doxi sl as antibiotic and XTPARA ( paracitamol 1000mg) for SOS . As a lactating mother she could not travel for a RTPCR or Antigen test. Now my question is this high fever and body aches can be a symptoms for covid 19? In this connection, this is to inform she has no runny nose or headache or breathing shortness. What else medication would be appropriate for her?

If she is a lactating mother , I think she should be at home and look after her baby. She should wear a mask all the time , that is the only way to save baby from infection.
As far as RTPCR is concerned she need not worry because there is going to be hardly any change in treatment even if she is positive.
She can be on Paracetamol, Cetrizine, Vit C with Zinc and Vitamin D3.
There is no point in giving very heavy dose of Paracetamol. She will be comfortable with 500 mg. In heavy dose will cause more side effects.
