Usually it heals by 4th week. But you should take care of your eating habits. Avoid or consume less of spicy / oily foods, foods with maida and fast foods. Take fibre daily (Lactifibre powder, one spoon in a glass of water, once daily can help). This will help in your free bowel movement. If you pass hard stools with straining, chances of recurrence are high.
Nonetheless, nothing to worry.
Next Steps
1. Change your eating habits. Consume fibre. Avoid oil, fat and maida.
2. Keep the anal region clean. If you find any discharge there / pain / fevers, go to your operated surgeon.
