My 9 month baby was suffering from high fever around 102. F also with cough, feels like mucus is full of mouth but he can't make it out, and he is always crying when cough happens it's like whooping cough, i have consult a local pediatric here he prescribe me medicine, but cough is not curing but fever is now less as compared to last two days today is the 3rd day of taking medicine, pls help me whether for cough what medicine should I give.

Cough will take a few more days. You can add mucolite drops 1ml thrice a day for 3 days to the above. It dissolves the cough which then goes out in the potty.Give steam inhalation, warm water to drink with honey, soup, avoid milk and milk products, add haldi in food.
