The meds need time to act. Any viral infection will take atleast 3 days for the symptoms to subside following antiviral meds. Nothing to worry. Monitor the fever spikes, they will come down in frequency and grade as well

Don't be worried. Any viral infection takes 4-5 days to settle. High grade fever can happen in influenza infection. You should continue paracetamol, keep your child hydrated. Nothing to worry if your child becomes active in fever free period. This infection will take its own time, you need to keep patience.
