Fever and platelets count
Hello, I am down with fever for four days which now in control. I did my full body check up and found platelets is down to 1.14 Lacs which was 2+ Lacs a month before. So my question is it down because of viral fever or shall I take Dengue test also. Please suggest

Fever with low platelet count is commonly seen in Dengue fever. Would recommend you to get Dengue IgM test as its already day 5 of fever along with repeat platelet count and review with a physician near by.

To drink enough Oral liquids. Avoid oily and spicy foods. Watch out for any rashes on the body.
