Certainly physiotherapy can be done for such cases. But firstly you have to make sure that if the fracture is still persisting. Xray investigations will reveal if the fracture is still present, has started healing or gone into non healing(which is a complication of fracture healing). Please get the x-rays done and meet a physiotherapist.
Physio will definitely help by planing a step by step rehab protocol as per the healing stage your patient is in. At The same time if a physio notices any complication like malunion or non union of fracture physio will redirect you to the respective specialist for the further management. Always remember healthcare delivery must have a holistic approach and its done by team of healthcare specialists.
Yes. Definitely. Please go to your neighborhood physio and ensure you communicate entire history. Lower limb and abdominal strengthening will help him manage pain better.
