Fatty leg related issue
I m 26 yr old women.my height is 5'6" and my weight is 73 kg. From 1 yr I observed that my one leg is little bit fatty than the other leg..and sometime it's paining.my legs become fatty day by day in proportion to my body.but one leg is more fatty than the other leg.is it any problem?kindly suggest

As per your body weight and height, having weight little more. You can say it overweight grade first. Swelling one leg may be due to any obstruction there, before going any investigation you should consult with your clinician to check for varicose, after that you can go for color dopler to rule out DVT.

1)Your ideal body weight is 66-68;you are overweight 2)You do a iT job,desk work,a sedentary type of job.You are at risk of having excess weight, metabolic syndrome and vascular problem

Hi Unilateral leg swelling can be due to filariasis or DVT Consult in person to hospital for clinical findings and DVT should be ruled out by ultrasound Doppler. High probability as a female obese elderly patient.

According to ur height ur weight is little more but it’s may not be much of a concern... ur problem is very unusual... swelling is generalised or localised has to be seen... if it’s localised then what is history like onset, duration, growth any trauma history, family history etc has to b taken.. x ray needed of affected leg..

Hi, causes for swelling in one leg can be due to 1. Deep vein obstruction( which could only be ruled out by a Doppler scan) 2. Other possibility could be filariasis.
