I am RA patient for more than 10 years. In last 6 months, I have had severe pain and swelling in my knees, making it difficult for me to go to bathroom even. The swelling has not going down with anti-inflammatory injection to the knees. I take Folitex (4 tabs/week) but my rheumatoid factor is 128. Orthopedic says knees look good. What should I do?

At your age, the knees start wearing down. This process becomes more prominent in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
Next Steps
Apply a hot water bag (twice a day for 10min), after that apply any local analgesic ointment, take mild painkillers...but most importantly, stop sitting/sleeping on the floor, avoid using stairs, avoid using an indian toilet and learn quadriceps strengthening exercises once from a physiotherapist and do them regularly life long at home...
