Extraction or RCT
Hi Rephrasing my previous question for more clarity and attaching my OPG I am experiencing mild sensitivity and pain on my right lower wisdom tooth . I recently did a RCT on my right lower first molar and extracted right lower second molar and have placed a crown and bridge connecting these two teeth. Please advise whether I need to go for extraction or RCT .Two dentists I consulted provided different opinions. What is the success rate for RCT on wisdom tooth? Also please let me know if wisdom tooth is extracted will there be any load imbalance on any of the other molars. Please provide the best possible solution and also pros and cons of both extraction and RCT Thanks in advance

Your lower right wisdom tooth has a deep filling done In such cases is the root canal is advised or extraction Extraction is a better option though Your first molar and second molar bridge is not ideal The missing tooth will need support from both the adjacent teeth that is the one in the front and one behind it Ideal treatment plan for you would be 1. Extraction of the lower right wisdom tooth 2.extraction of upper left root pieces 3. You can go for your teeth alignment ( braces ) ( Invisalign or clear braces , see Invisalign) Or 3. Place implants in the missing area for balancing the bite
