Elevation Of Serum Creatinine Level
I'm diabetic since 6 years with HbA1c regularly within 6% - 7%,hypertensive since 2 years with bp fluctuating around 130/80 or 140/80.Have grade 2 fatty liver disease.No problems or symptoms of kidney disease as such.All other health parameters are ok Previously serum creatinine used to remain 1.0.Tested after 13 months from the same lab & it came 1.2 (ref range : 0.72 - 1.25) Re-tested from 2 different labs on the next day.On one it came 1.10 (ref range : 0.6 - 1.30) & on another it came 1.18 (ref range : upto 1.4) Can abrupt stopping of regular psyciatric meds for 7 months & excessive weight loss of 10 Kgs for that,prolonged use of librium 25 (chlordiazepoxide) (1 tab twice a day) since 7 months,excessive anxiety disorder with excessive stress or excessive smoking since 7 months cause a temporary elevation of serum creatinine level of 0.2 after 13 months of last test with absolutely normal blood urea,potassium,urine acr/routine/culture & usg (kub + pvru) test results ?

There are multiple factors to cause elevation of serum creatinine. Advisable to re check after 3-4 weeks again. If you still have concerns, please consult a nephrologist in person or online Nothing has ever come good out of smoking. If you could completely stop it, helpful

There is 15-20 %variation of creatine levels each day which is physiological variation and with normal other reports it's highly unlikely you have any kidney issue
