High level of serum creatinine (4.1)
My dad is 69 years old and is suffering from diabetes and hypertension. Recently his sugar levels went up to 400 posts which the doctor increased his metformin dosage to 500 mg. His BP has gone up to 205/97 and he is taking Cilacar 30 mg in morning , 10 mg in afternoon and Aten 50 mg in evening. For the past 10 days his feet were swollen and had gastric issues, bit nausea and dizziness. Got the blood/urine tests done and his serum creatinine is 4.1 with protein 3+ in urine and GFR estimated as 15. His B12 is also tooo high 1565. Really worried and not sure on the next steps. Need suggestions urgently. 🙏
