Electrolyte Imbalance
My father is having electrolyte imbalance from last one month and his sodium level varies between 115-129. He was admitted in hospital for 15 days and was given 3% NS for the same. Today when we tested it again was at 115 mg/dl and potassium above 5.5. Is it something serious? The doctor asked to increase salt in food and it can be restored by proper diet. Kindly suggest and let me know what we can do to make it normal.
