This sounds like a condition called sound sensitivity (misophonia), where specific sounds like eating can trigger strong irritation or anger. It is common and manageable. Avoid suppressing it forcefully—gradual exposure helps reduce sensitivity over time. If it’s frequent or affecting your daily life, a psychiatrist can guide you with simple therapies (like CBT) and, if needed, medication.
Next Steps
I’d recommend a brief consultation to assess severity and help you feel more in control of these reactions.
Health Tips
Try using background sounds (music/white noise) and practice relaxation techniques when triggered.
