Hello Rabies spreads through the saliva of infected animals But this Saliva has to enter our system directly not Via oral route So Even if u have eaten the chips which were previously eaten by rodents there is very least Possibility of the Infection So have no worries and Relax Nd be careful from next time on. Rabies is primarily transmitted through bites or direct contact with saliva from an infected animal into an open wound or mucous membrane. Eating food that was nibbled by a rat carries an extremely low risk of rabies. However, it may expose you to bacterial infections like leptospirosis or food poisoning. What You Should Do: 1. Observe for any symptoms such as fever, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. 2. Maintain hygiene by drinking plenty of water and eating clean food. 3. Rabies vaccination is not required in this case, but if you develop any unusual symptoms, consult a doctor. Eating food that a rat or rodent has nibbled on does not cause rabies, as rabies is transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal via bites or open wounds. Do not panic Observe for symptoms – such as fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or flu-like symptoms. If any develop, seek medical attention
