Dry cough or throat infection
Hi sir /mam I am suffering from dry cough , I taken honeytus syrup and antibiotic tablet but no relief . This cough frequency increases when I am about to speak and also if try to speak .it seems to me like there is throat infection or similar . Please suggest any medicine or do I need to consult with the doctor.

Depends on duration of your dry cough, whether it is acute in onset or chronic. Further you should have CBC , chest x ray done. Please consult online for your further evaluation.

If your dry cough is for short duration ( less than 1 month) then it may be due to some kind of dust allergy/ throat infection/ postnasal drip/ acute hypersensitivity pneumonitis or many more. No need to take antibiotics. Do warm saline gargles, take cough syrup and Tab Allegra.
