Dose for albendazole for 2yr
Can i repeat albendazole dose I had given him the dose in September now he is showing all symptoms of worm so please suggest. Also in morning I have given him antibiotics for cold so can I give him the albendazole in such situation

First of all you given in spetember  fine ,if baby is above 2 years you can 10ml / 400mg ,10ml can be given ,if baby less than 2 years 5ml should be given,if worms are more and associated with itching you can repeat the albendanzole courses.

There is no need to repeat albendazole within 6month period, unless you see direct worms in stool or his stool test shows eggs, worms etc. Cold are mostly viral. Antibiotic has NO role in it. So, please stop it.

No need to give antibiotics in just cold, albendazole can be given [10/400 mg} 10 ml stat and repeat same dose after 14 days, and go for stool for ova cyst for 3 days so that an idea of type of worm will know
