Your incident on July 6 does not count as a rabies exposure. The dog only chased and barked, and you had no pain, no bleeding, no scratch, and no bite marks. A real bite or scratch cannot happen without you noticing — it always leaves a mark and causes pain. So, medically, this incident is Category 0 / No exposure and no vaccine was needed in the first place. Even then, you took: • 1st vaccine in September • 2nd vaccine on 10th November • 3rd vaccine on 14th November This is more than enough protection. Once you get these vaccines, rabies cannot develop, even if you had a small scratch earlier (which you did not). Rabies symptoms cannot appear now, because: • You were never bitten, and • You already completed a full protective vaccine course. Your current fear is due to anxiety, not due to rabies infection.
Next Steps
• You are 100% safe. • You did not have a rabies exposure. • You already took more than sufficient vaccination. • No symptoms of rabies will come now. There is no need for any more vaccines or worry.

Don't panic. As per description u may not have had a visible big injury otherwise u would have noted it. So it may be only category 1. Complete the vaccination schedule.

You do not have rabies. Reason: If a dog had actually bitten you on 6 July, rabies symptoms would normally appear within weeks, not after 4+ months. You had no wound, no bleeding, no bite mark → this is Category 1, zero risk. You still took 3 doses of vaccine, which gives 100% protection even if a bite had happened. Conclusion: You are completely safe, and rabies symptoms will NOT appear now. What you’re feeling is anxiety, not rabies
