Dog bite on 12th July
Hi Doctor, i have been biten by dog on 12th July but the scar/wound was not visible so i ignored. But, on 13th scar surfaces and was visible. I got tetanus and anti rabies vaccine.
I want to ask how many injection course if needed for this. Plus how to calculate the days of injection.
12th July - Dog bite , but didnot take vaccination
13th July- Got Tetanus and ANTI RABIES Vaccine.
PS: Is there only one vaccine for Rabbies or different and if different which one is better

There are different kind of rabies vaccine with different routes of administration.
Minimum five doses r needed depending upon the prior vaccination status and degree of dog bite.
