My pet dog ( age was less than year) bited me 37 years ago.i have not taken any vaccines. Only washed wound by soap and given antiseptic. Can I take any vaccine now or any medicine can I take.any test is neccessary?

Most common disease transmitted via animal bite is Rabies. And it can only be transmitted via Rabid animals ( stray dog, pet dog who is not vaccinated, bats, foxes, raccoons, skunks, jackals, mongooses ).
