Dog bite long back

As I was bitten by dog 16 years ago at that time I did not say anyone in the house I told I got hurt by falling on small steel rod at that time they clean the wound and gave TT after 3days.Does this have any impact on my health?

Tetanus injection is fine as it will protect you against this disease. Cleaning wound with soap water is very effective in reducing risk of rabies infection. That's very effective first aid. Then rabies vaccination or immunoglobulin is recommended based on wound.. But now after 16 years..there is no need to worry.
