Digestive tract issue
Most Respected Ayurvedic physicians here 🙏🏻. I had excess of boondi raita with Lunch in the last month or so. Added a glass of chach to it. Somedays the lunch was only with boondi raita. As well I had excess of watermelon (atleast 3 kg a day). Now am feeling intestines having coiled up, burning sensation while passing stools and having constipation. Please guide to remedial meds initially 🙏🏻

Namastey Based on your description, the symptoms started after a period of consuming large quantities of boondi raita, buttermilk (chach), and watermelon. Such dietary excesses can sometimes disturb digestion and bowel function, leading to symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, a sensation of intestinal uneasiness, burning during bowel movements, altered stool consistency, and constipation. In Ayurvedic terms, irregular or excessive intake of particular foods may contribute to digestive imbalance and impaired Agni (digestive function), which can subsequently affect bowel habits. The feeling of "coiled-up intestines" is difficult to interpret without a clinical examination, but if you are able to pass stools and do not have severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, abdominal distension, or inability to pass gas, it is less likely to represent an acute intestinal obstruction. However, persistent or worsening symptoms should not be ignored.
Next Steps
For the next few days, keep your diet simple, light, and easy to digest. Avoid overeating and temporarily reduce heavy, fried, excessively spicy, or highly processed foods. Maintain adequate hydration throughout the day and avoid repeatedly consuming large quantities of any single food item. Observe whether the burning sensation and constipation gradually improve as your digestion settles. If symptoms continue, worsen, or are associated with significant abdominal pain, bleeding, vomiting, or weight loss, a detailed medical evaluation would be advisable. Health Tips
Follow regular meal timings and avoid eating until overly full. Chew food properly and give adequate time for digestion between meals. Include a variety of foods rather than consuming excessive amounts of a single item for prolonged periods. Gentle walking after meals, adequate sleep, stress management, and maintaining proper hydration can support healthy digestion and bowel movements. In many cases, digestive disturbances improve significantly once dietary balance and routine are restored. Thank you
