Difference between Tics and stimming
Hi My 10 year old daughter has started showing signs of puberty from last t 15 days she constantly stimming like doing a particular neck movement and doing a humming soung ah ah...ah.. We went to her doctor he said it's a repetitive behaviour as she following instructions talking doing all her regular activities... I asked doctor about tics he said it's not tics, earlier also in past 2 years back same behaviour came and went in two / three months. The doctor increased her resperidone from 1.0 mg to 1.5 mg ( o.5 mg thrice in a day) My question it's 10 days I have increased dosage I cam see she calm happy playful but that behaviour is not settled,yes the sound is now in low volume but the frequency of doing is somedays same sometimes more.
