Hello, I am a housewife. My current weight is 62 kg and. Fat percentage 33.8%. I am doing exercise 3-5 days in a week for 40 mins. I am active for the whole day. I have a kid. I didn't get any rest through the day. At night I get sleep for 8 hrs. I want to lose my weight. So how many calories should I eat per day? Currently I am eating around 1200 calories.

Hello! Start your diet with a detox water Reduce carb intake and increase your protein intake. Greetings from Dietitian Souvik Chakraborty, I can understand your concern about healthy diet, for getting excellent results in diet plan, you need to follow some golden rule of healthy diet, like taking meal in regular intervals, taking water in interval, doing exercises in fixed pattern & post /pre exercise home made food must be added, which is lacking in your present diet, and sleep patterns or duration have huge effect on long term results. If you want to modify your diet on irreversible manner, you need to follow some diet protocol, & you will enjoy doing this & love to follow the same. I will love to help you for the same, you can directly contact me for understanding your detailed requirement. Thanks & regards, Dietitian Souvik Chakraborty (In Practo or You can google search to reach)

Hi, according to what all you mentioned here seems to be fine. Try to reduce fat foods ( deep fried, serving butter/ghee on the food and outside foods like chats, burger, fries etc) and increase the consumption of whole foods like whole cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables ( both leafy and other) + increase your duration of physical activity.  Have patience and don't go for any crash diet which is harmful to your body.
Next Steps
For further detailed information please book an appointment with Practo or call me directly.
