My grandmother is around 90 years old... She recently got viral and post medication she has become quite weak. Her appetite has gone down drastically. She is hardly eating anything. She gets an urge to pee quite frequently and sometimes can't control it. She is currently on aspirin and 5mg twice a day medicine for blood pressure. She is able to walk on her own slowly with the help of a walking stick. Please advise a simple diet plan for a North Indian.

Good morning
You need to let me know if she has any kidney issues or swelling or fluid accumulation in her feet or any other region of her body.
As for an aged person with BP and weakness no appetite liquid or semi solid diet is recommended but if she has fluid accumulation or congestive issues that has to be taken into account
Salt restriction also has to be taken into account.
So pls contact me through the app for me to give a personalised diet taking all precautions for your lovable grand mother

It's important to get her blood test done to better understand her condition. In the meantime, offer soft food options like khichdi, mashed or soft rice with dal, mashed vegetables, fruits, daliya khichdi, Porridges etc These are gentle on the stomach and provide essential nutrients. Book an appointment if you need more guidance.
Frequent micturition is a symptom for diabetes, though elderly do suffer from incontinence, due to lack of bladder and urethral muscle tone.
Give her soft cooked rice, may give her sips of soups or dal . Mashed fruits .
Also do not force feed her, small and frequent meals will help.
Give her soft cooked roti with dal if no issues with denture, or give her custard , dahi chiwra etc
We can give her some supplements with diet for her appetite
And the urge to do pee again and again or frequently sometime due to sugar urine infection or less strength in urethra muscle and it's normal in that age for her support we can give her urine bag or diaper so that skin area is not getting any fungal infection
To get a detailed diet I request you to please connect over a consultation with all things that you are giving her in form of diet and medication to help better
Thank you
