Diabetes pills advise
My mom who's 58 was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about two months ago. We did retina screening, lipid profile, scrum potassium, LFT, urinary ACR, Exercise Stress Test, Echo Cardiogrphy and everything turned out to be normal. The doctor advised my mom to go on a strict diet, regular exercise and to take Glycomet -850 SR thrice a day. She has been doing this for two months now and her sugar level is under control. We used Johnson and Johnson one touch select simple glucometer to test sugar level regularly. It showed 130mg/dl with fasting which according to the instructions is normal. I wanted to know if my mom needs to take Glycomet 850 SR or not going forward. If yes, what's the quantity? Also note, my mom is taking Amodep 5mg once a day. Thank you for your attention in advance.
