Uncontrolled diabetes from 1 year
I have diabetes and not taking any medicine for diabetes, I need to know whether it's type 1 or type 2 diabetes, my age is 26 and my parents are diabetic, please say it's type 1 or type 2

1. Check blood sugar levels FBG, HbA1c. If very high -
2. Go for Anti Islet Cell Antibody test if you really want to find out Type1 vs Type2
We only suspect Type1 when blood glucose levels are very high, accompanied by dehydration, polydipsia, and polyuria. It is unlikely for you having Type1 DM, given you don't have any other symptoms.
