Diabetes after covid and steroid
I had oral steroids for 5-6 days in covid. Since then my sugar levels are high. Fasting 130 PP 229 Is this temporary or permanent ? Been 15 days I am taking Metformin 500. Plz suggest.

Steroids increase the blood sugar levels. To see if it is diabetes or due to steroid do a  hba1c blood test. Those values helps in deciding. They reflect the long standing sugar levels in your body.
